color swatch does not take the alpha value into consideration #185

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Change the alpha(%) value in the color swatch
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The color hex value should change as one changes the alpha values

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and web
browser (including version)?
IE 7/8,Firefox,Chrome

Please provide any additional information below.

so the 'actual' color returned must be in rgba instead of hex?
