re-indexing the assets directory #124

In the 1.4 branch, every time the Load Model button was hit, it would re-index 
the contents of the assets directory.  So while working on a project, you could 
simply copy a needed model into the assets directory and then load that model.

With 1.5, this no longer works, requiring you to close the editor and re-launch 
it in order to index the assets directory.  This makes the process of building 
a project much slower.

This needs review to see if it is still valid for Kuda2. These need to be 
retested and opened as needed. On hold for now until that happens. Commend as 
needed.
