Empty fields caching

Replication instructions:
- Navigate to:
http://d1.zetaprints.com/mageimage/index.php/magentot-02/cent21-square-01.html
- Populate al fields except one (ex. Photo Corner Text (eg. price))
- Update preview and add to cart
- Click on Edit link in "My cart" page
- You will get redirected to the product page with the preview generation 
process already started using the cached data
- The text field you left empty (Photo corner text...) will be included in the 
generated preview. The data used for it is the data from the template - default 
value

Tested on /mageimage/ M. 1.6
Web-to-print and image generation, v. 1.9.1.1

Do you think it should be blank in the preview?

It should be same as the cached data. 
If a user left a field empty deliberately, added to cart, decided to go back 
and change something, the preview image they see should be same as the one 
added to cart.

I guess it's a matter of changing that flag for clearing empty fields.
