Does it happen for you all the time when you are trying (and for various web
pages)? Do you sometimes get a coverage statistics report in popup?

I very rarely get a coverage report - maybe 1 time in 20. The rest of the
time, Javascript performance takes a major hit, so I need to disable the
plugin. Maybe the button should enable it per page? Is that possible?

I seem to consistently get a percentage. But never a coverage report

Malini, that's essentially what I get: a coverage percentage in the icon, but
only very rarely a coverage report.

Thanks for your reports.
I have fixed the issue, though I need to make some additional testing. Will
commit the change on Monday next week. I am sorry for delay.

Could you, please, check that coverage report in Chrome extension popup opens
fine now?
You can install new version of ScriptCover extension from:
http://code.google.com/p/script-cover/downloads/detail?name=ScriptCover-1.0.0.1.

The code commit is coming later.

Short answer: this is worse. There's a coverage percentage, but it doesn't
seem to change between windows. The popup still reads "Please, Wait..."
N.b.: the code I am most interested in coverage reports on comes from a
file:/// link - it's Jasmine tests of a JS library. Is that a problem for
ScriptCover? It's an open source lib, so I'm happy to share the repo with you.
Also, I'd be willing to dig more into debugging this, if you can give pointers
about where to look.

Please, share the repo with me and also file a separate bug for this case. By
now Extension is not going to work for file:///. But I should take a look, if
it's possible to do.
Could you, please, check for http:// (https://) pages?
I think I fixed the issue that report was not opening in popup very often.

Code coverage never worked for me, all pages are really slow with this
extension enabled. Also the extensione crash after a while.
I'm using version 1.0.0.1

I think in 1.0.0.1 I fixed the issue of popup not opening in most of the times,
and only coverage percent shown in chrome extension icon.
Now popup opens persistently for web pages, if coverage percent has been
calculated (not equal to 0). Please, notify us, if it's still not working for
you.
Unfortunately, recently we introduced regression: ScriptCover began to crash.
This is a separate issue. As well as not working for file:///.
These two news issues should be filed.
gianmarco.gherardi, some pages are slowed down more than others. ScriptCover
definitely needs optimization. Some will be done along with fixing chrome
extension crashes.

Hi,
Please, file a separate feature request about exporting reports - to be in loop
about the feature. I think this is something that we can start implementing
rather soon.
