Inline SVG in fixed position floats to bottom on IE 6 #314

The following demo looks great in IE 7 and IE 8, but displays glitchy in IE 6:

I suspect that it is related to the dimension calculations, since IE 6 I
believe has yet a different way of calculating these things that IE 7 made
more 'standards' compliant. Element boundry boxes: the gift that keeps on
giving in HTML (mostly thanks to IE).

This will be delayed until I get access to IE6 again.
If the problem is the height is too high, then it is worth noting that I also 
see
this on Opera with the lamb example.
