in flash renderer, fill with image pattern does not work (programmatically)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create an ellipse
2. create defs / pattern / image elements
3. set eclipse's fill to "url(#pattern_id)"
4. the fill does not work in flash renderer

I'm using latest SVN trunk and testing on FF3.5 and IE7.

See sample code for details.  To run it, you need an image and alter the
image url in the source.
