Image is not displaying #350

Expected output: Image should displayed in the canvas

Instead of that, image is not showing. 

Browser: Firefox3.5.3
OS: Windows XP

<image  xlink:href="1.jpg" x="0" y="0" height="100" width="100" />';

I am using image tag to display the image in the canvas. But it is not
showing up. What is the problem and dont know where is the issue. Please
help me out.
