Nothing lasts forever, but google might last a while. This is why I'll just
copy the
post to here.
Sometimes I open a thread that contains read and unread posts and I don't know
what
posts I didn't read.
Reason for this can be browser window height and resulting incorrect
#id-jumping or
just a browser fail or me opening many thread windows/tabs and scrolling in
read ones
and forgetting which ones contain unread messages... So basically software and
human
failure.
I think adding "► " in front of the post date would be a fairly subtle but
also
enough notable way of indicating new posts.

perhaps you aren't aware of my data obsession.
to be fair, i guess i won't have control over ttf once i'm dead, but google will
probably be around (in some form) in fifty years.
