Release new version of the Grails plugin #708

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
The last released version of the Grails plugin is 1.4.0. A bump to align with
the latest wro4j version should be nice (currently 1.6.3).

I'm not sure if just updating the wro4j version in grails plugin is enough.
Grails plugin wasn't maintained for a long time. Since I don't have any
experience with grails and cannot commit on maintaining it on the long term,
the only chance for this plugin to be released is to get a contribution.

The wro4j-1.7.0 has been released (should be synced with public maven repo
soon). What are the next steps to release grails plugin?

As far as I know, the plugin was supposed to get published on
http://repo.grails.org/
@candrewsintegralblue was dealing with it. Probably he could answer your
question better than me.
