Q: how does the outbox feature works ?

Hi, sorry for not trying before asking, but I’m not yet to the point of deploying my 11ty blog.

• For what I understand, with the outbox active, when a new blog post under the [whatever] collection is published, it generate a new toot in the feed ?
• Does it contains all the content of the page ? The first lines of the content ? Is it possible to change the behavior ?
• Do you have some pointers in how to integrate the replies / favorites a blog post can get ?

Without the last feature, I feel it wouldn’t be worth it honestly, a bot with a RSS feed could do the job. I’m looking for a way to add comments in my blog and I’m on the fediverse, so the synergy would be cool to have. Maybe I’ll try to work about that…

I'm also curious about this. I enabled the outbox, and when I type the full username of my eleventy site (@digitial.garden@travisbriggs.com) into the search box, I see an account that has 74 "posts". But I can't see any of the posts or convert them to statuses.
