Only the following filenames are detected:
For a movie "avatar.720p.mkv"
the subtitle has to be named:
avatar.720p.srt
or
avatar.720p.pl.srt

Hi,
Thanks for the answer.
I guess i'm having a problem here and i'll give specific example:
Here's the files I have on my hard drive:
Inglourious Basterds-720p.mkv
Inglourious Basterds-720p.mkv.cuts
Inglourious Basterds-720p.pl.srt
Inglourious Basterds-720p.mkv.srt (just for testing)
I did library scan again, just in case - nothing helps. the player "don't know"
I have subtitle files.
Any idea what i'm doing wrong? (I attached also a clean log)
thanks again,
Gal.

I just checked the sourcecode, e2 only allows
Inglourious Basterds-720p.mkv
Inglourious Basterds-720p.srt
so no language indicator.

I'm still having the same problem. Subtitle selection menu does not show me any
option.
I forgot to tell that all of my movies (one folder) is on a samba share (apple
time capsule), but i guess that's not a problem, since it's a mounted volume on
the dreambox os and i can watch the movie itself...

Guys, any one can assist?
I'm still having the same problem, even when copied this single movie with it's
.srt to a local folder on my dream box's hdd.
Do I need to have an extra plugin to be able to play external subtitle files?
everyone just installs Project Valerie first time and start enjoying external
subtitles OOB?
If it's better that i open a bug so you'll be able to track it, please tell.
thanks
