Problems with Background and Backdrops

Hello,

I tried to install the new version 1262 of PV.
Installation was no problem and also my configuration was still there.

But no Backdrops and Wallpapers were shown, just the Covers.

Also the Background in the main screen of PV was not shown....

Hi,

no - from the check-in comment r1263 looks like a test commit => no real code 
changes have been done there.

So with r1260 everything works as expected - is that correct? If so, this is 
really weird, since r1261 was only a change in the wiki - and the small changes 
committed with r1262 where related to the Autosync-Feature in combination with 
OE2.0...

Which Box & which image do you use?

Ok, thats strange....
Will do a reinstall of the new version. (Last time i updated it with opkg)

Looks like you're facing issue #589, but needs to be verified using a log...

This is an error on my server.
For the moment I suggest staying with 1260.

Hintergrundbilder sehe ich bei 1262 oder 1263 auch nicht  bin wieder zurück 
auf 1260

Hi there,

just as a side-note:
if you use a DreamBox the problem should be solved easily by simply copying the 
file

  libshowiframe.so.0.0.0 

to the following directory on your box:

  /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ProjectValerie

This file is currently missing in the official packages since r1261, but can be 
found here:

  http://code.google.com/p/project-valerie/issues/detail?id=593#c5

I place the missing file in the shown folder. Now I have back the wallpapers 
and backdrops. Cool! :) (PV 1264 build, Vu+Duo on OpenVIX 3).

Hi Erion,

yes - I saw in your logfile, that this file was marked missing on your box, but 
I first wanted to fix your sync problems. But good to hear that you found a fix 
for the problem yourself... :-)

Unfortunately the build / packaging is still not up and running correctly so 
for now we'll have to manually copy this file if it is missing. :-(
