Sync issue, no movie Data populating. #737

Hi,
I'm a long time PVMC user and lately I am having lots of problems with movies not syncing.
I've noticed that lately movies will not sync, nor will they show as failed in
file manager.
I initially thought the problem was my setup, so I deleted PVMC along with the
Valerie folder and set up again from scratch using PVMC rev1280.
When I run a full sync now, it finds all my TV shows and list them correctly.
However with movies while watching the WebIF, it does find the files but it
does not pull any Data for them nor does it save them as failed.
It does find and list @15 or 16 movies as ''Scary Movie'' incorrectly

I'd Expect Movies to Sync or to be listed under Failed.
Out of 159 movies none Sync correctly and the ones that are listed were added
manually.
I use Valerie.info files to manage my TV series and these all sync perfectly
for me but I am at a loss as to what is happening with my movie collection.
I have attached a debug log incase anyone can take a look and shed some light
on this for me.

This issue can be closed out.
I have found that using therenamer with it set to create .nfo allows PVMC to
sync correctly.
Thanks for looking.

Hi there,

according to Bryan's Log PVMC tries to use the old API of TheMovieDB to load
the meta-data of the movie, so I think he is using an old version of PVMC.

Version r1280 should have a fix for this, but I never tried on my own since I'm
mainly using PVMC for maintaining my TV shows (and this is still working using
the old version of PVMC).

So if you have problems syncing movies using PVMC < r1280 please either try
using *.nfo files (as Bryan did) - or give a newer version of PVMC a try.

Cheers, Erik
