Selection UI is confusing (or is different as regular gfx software users are accustomed to) #261

There should be a button to configure the behavior of the selection tool. By 
default it should be like Photoshop or Paint (click replaces the old 
selection). But there should be an option to activate the selection mode as 
addition (or subtraction, intersection, etc.).
