What do you need to do?
Change the cursor software acceleration for hardware acceleration. It will
improve the speed, stability and accuracy.
Allegro 4 support this using the enable_hardware_cursor() function, declared in
the mouse routines api https://www.allegro.cc/manual/4/api/mouse-routines/
