Show rotation pivot by default #370

When we select a region, the pivot isn't visible, so we have to rotate a little 
to see it. There are some options: 1) the pivot could be visible by default, or 
if it's too intrusive 2) we could have a button in the context bar to show/hide 
it, 3) maybe related to this: issue 369
