Hi,

Just wondering if the Nano Defender for Firefox extension is required, otherwise what does it bring, for Firefox users as myself running uBO.

Wouldn't it be enough (as it was I think several years ago) to simply follow the Extra installation steps for uBlock Origin? which are:

Step 1. Subscribe to Adblock Warning Removal List. Step 2. Subscribe to Nano Defender Integration filter list. Step 3. Go to uBlock Origin dashboard, select Settings tab, check I am an advanced user, click the gears icon that shows up, replace unset after userResourcesLocation by: NanoResource

Thanks for info/advice.

There are rules that cannot be easily handled by filter list. Those rules need to be handled by Nano Defender as ND can run script to specifically to patch those nasty made adblock detection. Also the ND integration list is designed to facilitate ND's functionality, subscribing that without Nano Defender may cause unexpected result.

So, yes, ND is required to be included for working as expected.
