Simple concept: Change a distance based jump to a predefined destination system. When a player first joins a map they can set it up with "hyperspace routes" by doing a console command which will essentially just do "getpos" and then save that as the exact spot a vehicle will warp to.
A group of 20 in a laat sticking close to a frigate class vehicle with the ability to pull other ships in the immediate radius warping all together to a planet and immediately springing into combat is the scenario that Im picturing. Similar to the rebels warping in range of the death star and going to battle right then and there.

As it stands hyperspace is a cool system that is, unfortunately, under used to do how many of the maps are setup. Servers use maps like this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=779209314&searchtext=star+wars where there are 1-3 small sized planets with a small-large ship.
If predefined routes were added we could use instead maps like this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=759401502&searchtext=star+wars which have several full size planets and ships all layered similiar to a cake. As of now these maps are avoided because of their reliance on plugins like this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=268272730&searchtext=ats which is not immersive and can be pretty network abusive when a large group of players all do the command to warp at the same time.
