@LiamKeeble how many do you think for the Pilot study? I've got these so far:

Linguistics Vanguard
Language Variation and Change
Language in Society
World Englishes
Language and Linguistics Compass
Journal of Sociolinguistics

If I was going to go for 3 it would probably be LVC, JoS, and one other

I think these are all good for the final dataset. For pilot study I think I will conduct the full searches in all journals but then take a small sample (maybe 20-40 papers?) for us to code, and that will give us our pilot dataset. I think this is the best way to both get a pilot sample, but also figure out what our final dataset will look like.
