Search for papers

You currently have:

• `name of variety' varia*
• `name of variety' sociolinguist* I suggest adding:
• `name of variety' change
• is it worth adding `apparent time' in as well since we've specified that. Are we going to do a manual check of the results? I can see us getting false positives, e.g. someone who's using a particularly corpus for a theoretical syntax paper and mentions variation in a different context.

Search for corpora etc

This one I can easily see giving false negatives, e.g. there's no online presence of the Newcastle variation lab, but I'm also not sure there's any way to improve it to be honest.

I will add your suggestions. I think there is no harm in adding an extra search term even if it doesn't return many relevant studies. It's not too much extra work, we might end up picking up some useful papers, and inclusion criteria will allow us to eliminate any non-relevant ones. Speaking of which, I think there is some inclusion criteria in the manuscript which might be worth checking.
