Describe the bug
I've set up a raspberry pi + guacamole + x11vnc
Accessing from a "normal" browser (FF on Ubuntu 22.04) works fine.
But the ultimate goal is to access it from a Kobo e-ink device (more > beta feature > browser): To get a low-energy screen (visible outside) for apps that can't run on Kobo. Kind of like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4jD8E0e2ck but for any app running on a Raspberry Pi OS.
I can login into guacamole using Kobo browser, then I get a full black screen, BUT touch works (clicking on the black screen results in changing window focus on raspi).
I tried changing to 8bits (color-depth in guacamole) and x11vnc serves 8bits to normal browser (funky colors, no matter) but still no luck with Kobo.
I suspect framerate and/or encoding not to be manageable by Kobo browser.
Do you know what can be done on x11vnc to change encoding, or lower to the max the image complexity?
And if anyone is brave enough to test this setup, (s)he's a hero! :)
Expected Behavior
get a visible screen from the Kobo
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS and version: kobo browser
Xorg version used: 1.20.11 (Debian ARM for Raspberry 5.10)
