Requirement:

Adding a functionality for admin to edit/update the description about the site in footer region.

instead of the "Lorem ipsum dolor ... " paragraph we can add information about the site or site services which can be added by the admin.

Technical Implementation:

login as admin.
go to config tag.
suggestion solution:

As it will switch to config page where we can see basic site configuration (such as logo).
The controller that is returning the response for this /config request, should provide a text area where we can add the description about the site.
After describing the site in the text area we can submit and it will be added to the footer region below the logo.
I think this can be the solution for the issue.
