TODO List #273

Hi Everyone,

I couldn't help but I noticed that the Booked Scheduler version is 3.7.9 and the version of this GitHub is 2.8.6.1. I did the demo of the paid version of Booked Scheduler and saw a lot of differences in the looks.

Is there a way we can make this GitHub active again to make the app look better and work better? Unfortunately, I'm not a good PHP programmer but if we can make a team who is good at this, we can make a difference.

I know this isn't a real issue and maybe there is a better place for this but I couldn't find it.

It's not Booked Scheduled anymore ;).

Since the original developer closed the project sources (last open source release was 2.8.5 iirc), we don't have much in common. The project is now forked as LibreBooking

Hi @F0r3n5iC-Sw33t13 ,

As a new Librebooking project, there are many things to do first in terms of security and stability. There is also a Bootstrap 5 branch, with the plan to upgrade from Bootstrap 3, but we all do this as a community and need time to do everything. But do not doubt that sooner or later, Librebooking will be a benchmark in this type of booking apps. We just need time. You are more than welcome to help us in any way you can.

Hi @treborin

Please let me clarify that I totally understand that it needs some time! It wasn't my intention to be rude! Is there a TODO list or something? Things we have to do first?

F0r3n5iC-Sw33t13 commented 11 months ago

Hi!

Is there a TODO list somewhere with the things we have to do?

In the meantime, I have added a TODO chapter in the README where we can set everything there is to do.

@colisee, I had also started an issue for the TODO list, see my pull request.

I came across this issue as it is probably the only one I found as a meta discussion on this project.

Are there any plans on a forum or some scheduled meetings to get some form structure for the development?

Would it make sense to link to this (or a new) issue from the repo description and discuss it here?
