How to use GitHub

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It seems the most recent code was not published as an official release yet, thus the nextcloud app store isn't offering an update, (soft) blocking the upgrade to v28. I think this should be solvable by publishing a new release. Looking closer it seems your build pipeline failed due to unfulfilled dependencies.

Describe the solution you'd like Fix the dependencies to allow automatic builds to proceed again.

Describe alternatives you've considered Uninstalling the app temporarily, risking user confusion on login (again).

Hi @MPStudyly

I need to dedicate a time to do this, at this moment, I'm working hard now at LibreSign app to check if I can receive enouth funding to pay my bills and of other engineers that, like me, love open source softwares.

Because much of my work is voluntary and I currently cannot earn enough income to support myself, I need to prioritize the projects from which is near by to get funding comes.

If you like this app, I will like if you feel free to help me getting better input that allow me to dedicate time as quickly as possible to work on this project.

No worries, I fully understand there are more important things for you to focus on. If my department had some freely distributable budget, I'd happily support you financially fixing this issue (maybe one day...). In the meantime, I'll take a look at the build config/pipeline myself and try to submit a PR when I was able to fix it. I didn't have a closer look yet, but it simply seems to be outdated dependencies, or at least being related to that.

As I was unable to make any progress either, what amount of funding would you need to get this fixed in the near future? And how can the funding be provided? I'll look forward to get something going in our company, as we rely on this plugin to massively improve the UX on logins.

Hi, @MPStudyly.

We really appreciate you choosing to finance the development of l10n_override. It's this kind of collaboration and community support that motivates us to continue working on open source software.

About how to support, helping not only this app but other projects we maintain, is through sponsorship on GitHub Sponsors.

I'm part of LibreCode, a cooperative of IT professionals and our main project is LibreSign, which is where we centralize sponsors. Feel free to make a contribution there (insert link). To update l10n_override app, I suggest an initial contribution of 500 dollars, equivalent to 10 hours of work. If you enjoy our work, feel free to make a recurring contribution to help to maintain the continuous development of this and other apps that we maintain.
