[BUG] Screen flickers when menu is open while playing TS on TX6 #9326

Describe the bug

When an overlay (e.g. the menu or "playback bar") is displaying on screen the video flickers on Tanix TX6. Flickering stops as soon as the overlay is closed/hidden.

I could only observe the behaviour when playing transport streams. When playing other video files (other MPEG4 containers, MKV, DVD ISO etc.) there is no flickering.

How to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Play a transport stream (TS), e.g. live TV from TVheadend or a recording from a USB drive
  2. Press the OK or menu key on the remote to make an overlay pop up
  3. See flickering video

This might be related to #9277. Please test latest LE12 nightly here: https://test.libreelec.tv/12.0/Allwinner/tanix-tx6/

Indeed, thank you for the pointer, @jernejsk. I just tested the latest nightly (2024-09-16) and the flickering is gone.
