On some battlemaps heroes or monsters start in wells or in other small
areas surrounded by cliffs. This is totally unfair and can even lead to
unsolved battles (if both monsters and heroes are in wells). Also, AI tends
to fall into wells.

Moreover, on a particular map, standing on a hex resulted in falling into a 
well 3
hexes away.
