Are you GSoC, or outreachy?
We don't collect any mefical or other private information. We provide open source medical software for others to use.
Thanks though.

@tmccormi , thanks for your reply.
If that's the case, I think for the sake of clarification and understanding by your software's endusers, LibreHealth IO will need to have a clearly defined user beware policy... commonly known as The Usage Policy or Terms and Conditions of Usage.
I'd like to write it if that's ok....for your perusal and subsequent use on the website.
Either way, please let me know. Thanks.
@order4adwriter Are you GSoC, or outreachy??
@teryhill ...outreachy actually.
I am actually a freelance copywriter looking for something to contribute on....
got any suggestions?
The Outreachy project is already under way for documenting the EHR software. We have advisers for legal matters and they have approved our current usage statement.
ok....got it.
thanks for the heads up.
@tmccormi , @teryhill
I also just took a look at your About Us write up... at the bottom of the home page.
I think this needs a little more work...as it is barely informative.
Can I go ahead and work n it and will it posted on the site if you are satisfied with it?
Persistent 8^) . Yes if you would like.
That will have to be approved by the steering group I think. That is the actual web site not the EHR. @tmccormi
Lol!!!.....just looking for something to do Terry... to keep the brain flowing.
Ok thanks....working on it now
ok...fair enough....

I noticed that LibreHealth website has no privacy policy.
This is really important as it is supposed to ....
Give current and potential subscribers /endusers of your software or app, a clear idea of what kind of medical information, why the website or app collects such information and how such collected information is used or shared ( where necessary) by LibreHealth. ... in the course of downloading and use of the application by an end user.
In other words, a privacy policy is a statement or a legal document that discloses some or all of the ways a business / website gathers, uses, discloses, and manages a customer or client's data. It fulfills a legal requirement to protect a customer or client's privacy.
Every serious business / ecommerce / service provider website currently has one.
In my vast experience, I strongly believe that LibreHealth needs one as well.
I would like to use my skills as an experienced advertising and sales copywriter to good use for LibreHealth ... with subsequent content creation and other copy writing tasks later on, to create an all-encompassing Privacy Policy for LibreHealth.io
Please let me know asap If I can go ahead and post it here... or as a pull request.
Thanks.
