Mega board v1.3.0

This version is tagged as v1.3.0. Here is the design in Kicad as it was on Eagle for version v1.2.

The DRC has errors, but the same errors are at the Eagle version.

From this point we will start the development of the new version fixing some issues and adding some features for the next release (v1.4.0).

I generated the gerber files to compare with the eagle gerber files. I had to move the layers because the center is not the same in eagle / kicad. I had to move the layers X=-6537.0000, Y=5300.0000 (I used gerbv). It looks very good!

Things I noticed

• The gerber from eagle has the big circular holes in the profile.gbr (edges). Kicad only has the normal rect cuts. Probably this is not a problem but we have to make sure that the drill holes are of the correct size?
• Silkscreen are different but looks good
• Fill zones are different because keep out size is different. At least 40mils more are needed to add from the border of the "edge cuts" to the fills if we want to have the same fills. I don't know if we need to change this but one part that could be important is the cuts in the center of the board to avoid the components of the core board.
• Paste layers are identical
• Edge layer are identcal (except for the circular holes)

Things I noticed

I had check the following holes:

• PCIe holding holes: 4.09mm
• Board holding holes: 3mm
• Eth holding holes: 3.25mm

I will get for granted that the rest are ok.

The general clearance of the fill zone was fixed on d50677589d6b94393418c6f648a58c88d5faf476 Version 5 of kicad has not separated clearance for fill zones and borders. The 40mil clearance was workarrounded adding keep out areas on 23366867893dda1cefcf4d65771b5a38fcb68970
