Clean-ups will take a while, basically not allowing us to implement new tools in the short term because the code is pretty messy. In order to stop people to ask for new tools (or, even worse for their time, create PRs implementing new tools), we should warn them somehow. I suggest to implement a roadmap in this repo, either as a locked pinned issue or as a markdown file linked in every template.
Quoting @felipemanga from Matrix/Discord:
"short term: do the minimal changes to the UI code to allow sanity in new code. Add new functionality through scripts whenever possible.
long term: rewrite (salvaging whatever makes sense, not a clean-room rewrite), keep compatibility with scripts so that not all work is lost."
