Will someone answer this question for me real quick?
You need to copy
xinput/x64/xinput_1_3.dll LibRevive64.dll openvr_api64.dll openvr_api.dll
From
C:\Program Files\Revive
To the directory with your game .exe. Some titles need xinput_1_3.dll
renamed to xinput9_1_0.dll

Hi @ahmanwoods , I'm dying to play Dying Light with my HTC Vive please help me. :)
Can you please reply here and /or email me at: therendercafe@gmail.com?
Your help is much appreciated ! :) This is why I bought the Vive, to play Dying Light.. :(
I think it's best to give up on Dying Light, its VR support is a complete mess. It will make you completely motionsick and it's not fun to play.
It is not the best vr experience thats for sure, but i got it working great and played for over an hour streight on my WMR headset. However i am a seasoned vr gamer so nothing has made me sick in a very long time.
@therendercafe , Follow these exact steps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlBmaaFT0RU
and when you get to the patching part, Do what was mentioned above for manual patching.
A couple extra tips just in case. On the oculus store go to settings, general and make sure unknown sources it ticked on. In steam, make sure use desktop game theatre when steamvr is active is turned off
So with the newer version of revive patching has been removed.
In my case i need to patch Dying light so i can play in vr with revive. Was it just 2 files i have to copy to the game folder in order to manually patch it? Which files do i need to copy over?
I thought i had to do this once before but i don't remember, it could have been something completely different.
