I have the same problem on HP Reverb G2 + RTX 2070 Super + Ryzen 5600X. I tried the current Revive Beta in OpenVR mode and there is still a lot of judder. It was also reported by other users: Reddit link . I tried to force reprojection in SteamVR to use 45 fps, no difference. Lowering SteamVR resolution does not help either - on this fpsVR screenshot you can see the regular GPU/CPU spikes happening few times a second making the judder. I tried to run the game in OpenXR mode instead but there is just black screen after the initial load screen.

Try the latest beta, it uses OpenXR by default with tons of improvements: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/librevr/revive/build/artifacts

It works really great now, in OpenXR mode. I just installed 2.1.1.125 (latest successful build) and it helped (it must have been some recent commit that fixed this since I had week old build before). Thank you very much!

How do I download the beta? I see no installation path.

You can check the history page https://ci.appveyor.com/project/librevr/revive/history and look for latest green (successful) build. Open it, and go to Artifacts. The download is there.

Thanks for that information. It worked for a couple weeks but now when i launch the climb when it gets to the menu It goes black in my hmd. It will temporarily come back when I hit the start button but then fade to black again. Nothing has changed in my settings

I have the same problem now too. No setting changes but I had Nvidia driver update, Oculus Store update and some Windows updates.

I'm using WMR, and experience the same issue - hmd goes black a second after main menu pops up. Using Revive 3.0.0, on 2.1.1 The Climb did not wok for me at all. I can still play it using Revive 1.9.2, but I experience 30fps limit.

Interesting thing about that 3.0.0 going to black though - if I load a level and, in there put my headset inside a in-game wall, I can see everything again in my hmd. it will go back to black if I get out of that wall again.
