Can't link account. #1727

The application is Revive

Linking your account with revive just does not work. It says "This username or password is invalid" repeatedly.

I just want to be able to login so I can link my account with Revive.

I turned off 2FA through my facebook which is the only way to disable 2FA on oculus accounts in 2021. I even changed my name on the oculus app an changed it on facebook to match and nothing happened still.

Linking your account is not possible when you use a Facebook account. Multiplayer will still wotk, but you mayhave trouble when trying to party up online.

I've been meaning to update the dashboard solution to not require logging in, but haven't found the time.

This solution no longer works. The website just says "whoops".

I just tested it and it's working. You may be misunderstanding the appID instructions. You need to go to the rift store page for the app and copy the #s at the end of the URL, not go to the /appID page.
