The Climb won't launch #1761

Describe the bug When trying to launch The Climb through steam vr or revive, it shows the climb is up next. After a moment, the "up next" loading screen disappears and nothing else happens. The game used to launch fine with no problems and was playable up until a few months ago.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Attempt to launch The Climb.

Expected behavior Expected the game to launch like normal.

Additional context The game used to work perfectly fine up until a few months ago, it randomly started doing this.

I think Revive is dead. :< I have problems with Pokerstars. Something to do with Oculus implementing a new method on their overlay.dll or something. But anyway it seems the devs are done with this app/plugin.

Even though Revive has made a huge impact on my enjoyment of games, it was fun while it lasted. :<

Try launching the game while offline or switch to offline while being on the loading screen if the former does not work. This fixed it for me making me very grateful to the person that suggested this somewhere. Good luck! Great game indeed.
