Can you try Revive version 1.0.6? https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/releases/tag/1.0.6
I still get Entitlement Check Failed with 1.0.6.
I tried launching from the steam tab and injecting Chronos-Win64-Shipping.exe in the task bar.
That is strange I just played a game of Chronos and I can confirm it's still working with the latest version of Revive.
This sounds like a problem with Oculus Home. Try this:
Tools
folderOculusDebugTool.exe
After that it should have confirmed your entitlement and you can start it through Revive again.
Thanks, that got me past that problem. I guess I should try updating back to 1.1.0.1?
Hi. I'm trying to run Dead And Buried from Revive on my HTC Vive, but i get "Entitlement not found" error. Tried to follow what you've suggested earlier but I'm stuck on step 5. It doesn't let me start the game from the Oculus Home because I skipped the setup of Oculus Rift. Any Ideas? Thank you.
@unka Did you follow step 6 of the installation instructions first? https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive#installation
I've purchased this game almost a week ago.. restarted my pc a hundred times since then.. if that's what you mean. Before that i bought Super Hot, and it works just fine, however at the beginning i had to reinstall Revive few times.
I can see my Oculus Home in Debug HMD (CV1).. but how do i start the game if my controllers don't work in there? .. :/
Also make sure you are starting Steam as Administrator. I found that since the last Win 10 update, I need to run practically everything I use for gaming "As Administrator".
Try that and let us know.

Revive version 1.0.6 didn't help, ran as administrator.. same. Antivirus off.. same.
@unka You start the game by pressing play in the Oculus Store? That part shouldn't be that hard to figure out?
It doesn't let me to start the game from Oculus Store. It says "hardware error" since i had to skip the oculus rift setup. Is it suppose to start from there? I can run it from Steam or Revive.. but when i'm trying to run it from oculus it wants to setup the headset first. Can i do the setup somehow?
Try running the executable directly.
Great idea! and how do i do that exactly? :) it is not like i've installed it from a disc or something.. i can't even find it on my hard drive, not even a shortcut.. is there a folder where the oculus games are being stored?
I think what Jules is trying to do is have you start from Oculus Home while the Oculus debug tool is running and the debug HMD is set to CV1. You will see what looks like an HMD on your monitor). That process may authorize the game so you can later start it from Revive. I had a similar issue with Chronos but since I was never able to set up the HMD in Oculus (because it was a PiMax and did not have the Oculus sensor), I had to go the extra distance of setting up a P.S. Eye as a sensor before I could set up Oculus. After that I was able to start Chronos from the revive tab in the Steam HMD menu.
Have you been able to get through Oculus setup with your Vive?
Also, are you able to launch Goat Mountain or Lucky's Tale (both free Oculus games that also have Entitlement Error issues if everything is not set up correctly). If these workand your purchased gane don't then you have a differen issue (which using Oculus Debug might help).
It is all pretty confusing until you have been around the block with it a couple of times...
Good luck.

@argold57 @unka I would like to note that this is not how things would normally work. If Oculus can't authorize these games after a restart there is something wrong with the Oculus Service running on your PC.
Thank you guys for your help and patience! I'm gonna try Goat Mountain and Lucky's Tale, if those won't work i'll reinstall Oculus, if this won't help i'll come back and start whining again :)
argold57: No, setup can't find the sensor.
Goat Mountain - Game Failed Entitlement check.
Ok! Everything works fine now. Here is what i did: (You guys suggested to try 1.0.6 version of Revive.. so i did, but it didn't help) Right click on Revive icon in TaskBar, clicked on "Check For Updates".. it downloaded latest version (1.1.1 .. the one that i had installed few times before) .. and that's it.. now it works just fine. Thank you guys!
sometimes it is not the version, it is just the process of reinstalling...

I just installed Revive 1.1.0.1. I just purchased Chronos.
Here is what I tried: -Uninstalling and reinstalling Chronos -Uninstalling and reinstalling Oculus Home with a new version downloaded today, then installing Chronos from a fresh start -Restarting Oculus Home after Cronos install -Restarting my PC.
