Which version of the Nvidia Drivers are you using?
I'm using 382.05
Hey guys, any ideas on this? My post got temporarily taken down for spam by accident, so just wanted ot bump it
Had the same problem. Everything was stuttering. I installed an older Version of the Nvidia drivers and now it works like a charm.
Working version is 382.53.
My system is AMD R5 1600 and a GTX 1070. Cheers
Should you use older drivers for Nvidia?
@ecklipse Only if you have severe latency issues. If you have such an issue I'd also like to know whether the 1.2.0 beta version of revive fixes that: https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/releases/tag/1.2.0
Hey all, first my specs - i7-6700HQ GTX1060 6GB 16GB Ram
I understand that some games will require lower settings on this rig, but my experience here is a little strange exclusively with Oculus apps.
So even if I'm just running Oculus Video app, it's appaulingly jittery, yet oculus only shows occasional skipped frames.
When I look at the graph, I notice something else in Oculus apps/games that I don't see in regular steam games, and that's that the entire GPU section is a wall of BLUE all the way up to max. To me, this suggests that the oculus applications are absolutely maxing out my GPU, but why is this happening even with cpu non-intensive apps like the video app? Whereas I have no such problem with games like Project Cars, or Assetto Corsa?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
also worth noting is that with almost every single game even on Steam, even on lowest settings, I'm almost constantly jumping in and out of reprojection mode. I feel like this shouldn't be the case and something is going wrong here.
I've tried turning off reprojection and it doesn't fix the issue on Oculus games, I've also got the scaling set to 1.0.
