Project Proposal

Who is on the team? Siddhartha Sahai (@sidthekidder), Agrim Asthana (@agrimrules), Deise Goncalves (@deisejpg)

Background: A portable and secure health platform to guarantee your data stays in your hands. It would facilitate timely communication of data from the patient and the healthcare provider perspectives. Interoperability between different healthcare systems would be increased, improving efficiency, and reducing chances of HIPAA violations.

Goal: The goal is to decouple identity from health medical records and promote sharing of data between different EHR systems.

High-Level Features of the platform

QR codes are used for a seamless UI experience

i14y is a new interoperability platform that will transform Healthcare data management. The i14y prototype developed for the Life Sciences Hackathon includes the use of QR codes to safely store and update PII to conceal identity. More to come!
