Slows, such as daze, is overpowering other abilities such as Hamstring. If a daze is applied while the player has the hamstring effect, the daze overpowers and removes the hamstring. This results in the target escaping due to daze lasting a shorter time. It also prevents hamstring from being applied.
This greatly affects Warriors in PvP as it allows their targets to escape easily.
This is happening as of the 1.2 patch on Northdale.
The Dazed effect caused by NPCs will now stack with all other movement slowing effects. Note that the movement slowing effects will not stack, but the debuff icons will remain to ensure the full duration of these effects persist.

Back in the day I remember hunters using cheetah to get rid of hamstring and crippling poison. That got changed later though.
