Need to more explicit about length restrictions #13

Name should be limited to 40 characters. Longer names may not display fully in the GUI. Tags should be limited to 15 characters. Longer tags may not display fully in the GUI.

Good that you are concerned with the user not being able to see the entire name/tag. However, if I expand the GUI, there is no problem. Also, the program does not restrict me from having inputs that are longer than your restrictions.

Perhaps, you can be more explicit in telling the user that they can expand the window to see the whole text, and tell them that the program does not prohibit the behaviour and you are just discouraging it.

P.S. Your remarks will show even if it is more than 40 characters.

Team's Response

The user guide states that it "should be limited to ..." and not that it "must be limited to..." . Also, most names and tags do not extend past these limits.
