This was your introduction to NAB

Welcome to the user guide for NAB! NAB is a desktop application tailored for ward nurses inSingapore, optimizing patient contact management via a Command Line Interface (CLI) whileincorporating a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for ease of use. It complements the ElectronicMedical Record (EMR) system, providing a quick way to help nurse care and connect with patientsfaster. Designed for efficiency, NAB enables:

  • quick access to patient records,

  • streamlined contact management,

  • simplified logging of care details,

However, there is no field for any contact at all (phone, address, email...)

Team's Response

NAB is designed for nurses caring for patients in long-term care wards. Hence nurses can reach the patients by going to their wards, since the patient's ward will serve as their point-of-contact during their stay.

Additionally, important contact details are stored in the hospital's EMR which the NAB complements.

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: In nowhere in the UG did you mention long-term care ward, or explain any of this. If everything is in the EMR, what is the point of your application?

Saying that it is designed for long-term care wards is just shifting the goalposts and it is clearly not what NAB is.

## Issue type Team chose [`type.DocumentationBug`] Originally [`type.FeatureFlaw`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** There is a fundamental disconnect between what the UG describes and what is implemented. If a feature is promised, it is not a mistake.
## Issue severity Team chose [`severity.Low`] Originally [`severity.High`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** It is a feature flaw that affects all users. Users that expect that they will have easy access to client's contact details will realise that it is impossible with this application. I think that users in this case is every user who reads the UG to understand what NAB provides them.
