Hi. I would like to thank you for your great work. Could you please provide all information required by PCBWay, so that they can make it.

Number of Layers, Dimension, FR4-TG, Thickness, Hole size, Surface finish, Finished copper.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm pretty sure that if you just upload the gerbers and use the defaults you'll be fine. Are you wanting PCBWay to do the assembly as well? My suggestion would be to use JLC for the boards and LCSC for parts, it's much more cost effective if you build it yourself.

Hi @sweetlilmre thank you for your answer. Adam recommended JLC to me as well. Boards have been manufactured in the meantime. If I find the time, I will try to assemble the components on the board. Btw would it have been possible for JLC to assemble the board for me?

It would have, but not worth it in my opinion. With the 1206 footprint of the SMD components, soldering it yourself should be fairly easy. Only complex chip was the MAX232 but even that wasn't too bad.

this board was meant to be hand soldered which is why i used very large components. I didn't know how the SMT services worked and I had enough to figure out in this project at the time.

and since it kinda looks like I just ignored this issue, they emailed me and I talked to them via email.
