Photoshop version CC2021

Describe the bug Brushes with pen jitter controlled by pen pressure do not react to it.

To Reproduce Plug in a pen tablet and try to use it with a default Photoshop brush that should react to pen pressure :/

Expected behavior The brush should react to pen pressure and thicken/thin accordingly, the sreenshot attached shows expected behavior in Krita.

Hello, I'm sorry to report you that I can't get any pressure pen working with wine...

I can't recommend you more to use Krita or Gimp for those things.

I don't think wine support it with the research I've made...

I have little knowledge on how to patch wine but not enough to create a whole driver unfortunately...

Hello! I have this same problem. I thought I should share that I got the classic Windows workaround to work on Linux Mint, but it is extremely spotty and only works a fraction of every stroke I try. But maybe try it out and see if it works better for you. If you're not familiar with the workaround, here's what you need to do:

  1. Navigate to your linux installation folder/drive_c/user/username/Appdata/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2021/Adobe Photoshop 2021 Settings/
  2. Create the file PSUserConfig.txt and type the line "UseSystemStylus 0" inside.
  3. Restart Photoshop with your tablet connected

Here's a screenshot of it working (sort of) Screenshot from 2023-12-16 21-47-29
