I did not realise that rebasing to v4.9 and deleting perf-opencsd-4.9-rc1 would also close your pull request - apologies on that front.

Please resend, this time on perf-opencsd-4.9. While doing so add a better description of what the patch does along with a SoB. This was working before, thanks for fixing it.

Since this section of the code is not upstream yet we will have to merge your work in the official patch that does get sent to the mailing list. When that happens we will add you name as contributor in the patch description.

Ok, I will resubmit for the new branch with a longer message about what was broken and how the patch is fixing it.
