tradefed: silence error and use format-string where needed #46

There was an unecessary error message where it should just be a normal info message.

Also, there were a few places where format-string was being used but missed the "f" at the beginning of the string.

Checks are failing due to an update in SQUAD. I'm merging this now and will release a new SQUAD version. Checks should be fixed after the new release.
