In Linen you can copy https://www.linen.dev/s/linen/t/14135904/you-can-copy-this-link if you hover a link you can click the paperclip to copy
Let me know if this wasn't what you meant
@cheeseblubber This is not what I need.
Background: I am an open source library maintainer and I need to answer questions asked in our Slack channel. I answer questions directly in Slack.
Then when I need to create an Github issue, I would copy the Slack link (which will be expired in 3 months). So it will be better to copy the linen link instead (thinking about a linen-slack plugin?).
What I have to do now is go to linen and search for the keyword and find the exact same thread. Every time I go to linen it takes a few minutes until it finished rendering (the latest question will be in the bottom, and it is quite slow to search). Then I can copy the linen link to my Github issue.
Is there a smarter /efficient way to do this?
I see so there is two issues. Linen is slow and search is slow.
We are shipping a faster search soon you can test it out here: https://linen.dev/s/linen we'll turn it on for Kedro this week
Going to reach out over email to take a look about the performance
@cheeseblubber Thanks! I am excited to test the feature. The link that you share doesn't have a large archive so I don't know how it works out.
If you go to https://linen-slack.kedro.org/c/questions, and you try to scroll to the bottom you will understand what I mean. The page keeps fetching new content so it's impossible to do anything until it finally loaded every single post.
Ok I think it is a bug on the client side it shouldn't keep scrolling. Which browser are you using?
In Slack you can copy the link of a thread with one click. What is the easiest way to get the equivalent link of linen archives?
Currentlt I need to go to the linen mirror and search for the thread. And it takes long time because linen render thread from old to new and the process is slow.
I am mainly linking my linen thread in Github so I don't lose the records.
