At present, PyLiPD doesn't support creating LiPD files from scratch. A workaround is for users to create a JSON dictionary that can then be converted to LiPD files. For users to create a JSON dictionary that fits the LiPD standard format, it would be helpful to have a JSON template that have the structure and keywords filled out to work with.
Not sure if this is relevant, but my specific goal is to create a collection of benthic foraminifera d18O records in LiPD format. The collection will have over 200 records from around the world.
