apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Have you solved the problem? I also encountered the problem

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

which method are you using?

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Altstore

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

were you previously jailbroken? and also what ios version and device are you using?

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

I've tried it both ways with the same result

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

yes iphone12pro 14.4.2

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

remove the sideloaded apps entirely and delete the profile from your settings, and then reboot

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Un and fugu14?

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

yes, as they both don't work or solve your issue, correct?

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

I tried to restore the phone before, but the problem still could not be solved

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

remove altstore too, and reboot phone, then sideload altstore again from your pc

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

so your phone is stuck in a confusion right now thinking it's an untethered state, you need to restore root fs and i'm trying to walk you through

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Ok, thank you. I'll try it now

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

But now the phone cannot recover the root file system

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

that's okay, I got you. let me know when done.

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Okay, thank you.

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

The same error is displayed

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

The problem has not yet been solved

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

we aren't done yet, I said to report back when done lol.

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Reboot in recovery mode, use "recovery -s" and type the following "setenv boot-args x", "saveenv", "reboot" I don't know how to do this

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Is there a detailed tutorial

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

brew install libirecovery

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

let me know when done

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

run that command in a new terminal

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Where can I download LibiRecovery

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

do you have homebrew on your mac?

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

I installed FUgu14 when I installed it on the computer before

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

im not asking about fugu, do you have homebrew installed ?

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

No

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

open terminal and paste this and hit enter:

/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

next, after installing homebrew, open a new terminal and type:

brew install libirecovery

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Libirecovery has been installed

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

Use iRecovery: irecovery -s (enter) boot-args untether (enter) saveenv (enter) reboot (enter)

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Does the phone enter the code at the terminal in recovery mode

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

you need to have your iphone connected to your mac, and run these commands from your mac terminal, this won't put your phone into recovery mode

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

Ok

apple7896 commented 3 years ago

According to command not found recovery

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

now can you open fugu and "restore rootfs" ?
