I'm using the macOS method, the app launched after the first installation but didn't launch after the update phase. I'm on iPhone Xs Max, the model number is MT5J2LL/A, iOS version is 14.5 Beta 4 (18E5178a) I've also tried the Altstore method but the app also doesn't launch after the update.

which app doesn't launch? altstore? or fugu14?

the issue I linked pre-dates your linked issue, that has nothing to do with the problem.

you know the app is meant to launch once, right?

Samboy-Chips commented 3 years ago

it launches the first time to prep the jb, then it gets patched/updated by xcode/CLI installer or altstore and must run a second time to install the jb.

Samboy-Chips commented 3 years ago

the problem here is, on beta versions for some reason, the app crashes immediately upon that second launch for who knows what.

jaygee562 commented 3 years ago

and you are connected to your mac/vm the entire process, correct? while running install.py

Samboy-Chips commented 3 years ago

why would anyone disconnect their phone while running the python script? the fact this is reproducible on the altstore and xcode install methods, by many people, proves that this issue exists within the fugu14 code and must be fixed by the developer. this is not caused by human error during the install.

you sure do seem arrogant with your replies, I'll leave you to it, since you seem to know the answer.

Samboy-Chips commented 3 years ago

you're not reading what I'm saying and I'm being incredibly patient over-explaining things to you. I'm not being arrogant. Leave replies related to the issue from now on, we're getting off topic
