What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type an annotated number into the IDE (with Python syntax selected), e.g. 
100L

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the number should be in the number color, but is in the error color instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.5.2 beta on win7 home premium x64
