where can i go to learn how to use the tools im pretty new at this

It's not easy. Here are some courses if you're dedicated.

If you don't want to do that, you can read the info on each tool on the official Kali site: https://tools.kali.org/tools-listing

Also, read the man pages. man nmap will give you a manual(man) for nmap. Same for all or most of the tools.
