Refactored into more of an Emacs package #1

Refactored the existing code into a minor mode.

Features include:

Customizable theming with (customize-group 'auto-dark)
require-able. Can now be added as a local package.

I think there's still a naming problem: on line 25, the function is named auto-dark-mode-set-state, but on line 47, auto-dark-set-state is called.

Does it work if you change line 25 to (defun auto-dark-set-state (state)?

If this still hangs Emacs, maybe you could get a backtrace using one of the methods from this StackExchange discussion and post it here? I don't use macOS so I can't do it myself.

I've been out for a long time and just renewed this package.

Please feel free to contribute again with this now NOT defunct repo.

For now I'll close this PR.
